Every year, control visits are conducted on each awarded site at least once during its season, by the National Operator control visit team.
On top of that, the Blue Flag International Head Office conducts international control visits throughout the sites, to ensure all sites comply worldwide, and that criteria are being enforced in the same way throughout the network. These visits can be announced, or unannounced.
In order to conduct this tremendous work, Blue Flag International has trained and certified an International Control-Visit-Team of experienced individuals:
